Office of the Assemblies

The CJC approved the set of Code amendments we have been discussing for the past few months at our meeting this past Wednesday (4/11).

In order to ensure maximum public awareness, we will be holding public office hours for community members on the following dates and times to answer any questions about these amendments and receive input:

• 3:00 - 4:15 PM on this Tuesday (4/17) in the Claudy Casual Conference Room* in the Law School
• 1:30 - 2:45 PM on this Thursday (4/19) in Mann Library Conference Room 102
• 3:00 - 3:40 PM on this coming Tuesday (4/24) in the Claudy Casual Conference Room* in the Law School

Should there be demand for it, we will hold additional sessions as needed. Attached is a copy of the passed code amendments to this email and encourage you to share this message to your constituents widely.

Finally, we have also setup an online comment box here (http://freesuggestionbox.com/pub/bebpdfj) should you or your constituents wish to comment on the proposed changes without attending a meeting or our office hours.

*To get to the Claudy Casual Conference room, enter the Law School (Myron Taylor Hall) via the College Ave. entrance below the sign labeled "Cornell Law School" (it is a recent addition and looks new), turn immediately right and go up the staircase (the staircase is of a modern design, do not go down the center hallway that is visible once you enter the building).  Once you go up the stairs you will see two brown (leather covered) doors to the Law School library reading room.  Enter the library and turn immediately left, you will then see another staircase (mounted to the wall of the reading room with marble stairs and wrought iron railings).  Go up the staircase to an old style wooden door.  Inside is the Claudy Casual Conference room.
