I am pleased to convey EA R4 : In Recognition and Appreciation of Cornell University Students to you for consideration.
This resolution is a formal recognition of the Cornell University students response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to thank them for their efforts to protect Cornell’s Ithaca campus community. The Employee Assembly is impressed and grateful for how adaptable and quick to respond Cornell students have been in making massive and difficult changes for everyone’s protection, in such a short amount of time.
We are also hoping to partner with stratcomm@cornell.edu to recognize R4 in the weekly Undergraduate Connection Newsletter. If there are other student publications that the EA should get in touch with to recognize R4, I welcome suggestions.
I would like to thank Kristie Mahoney, Delia Dean Herrin and the many members of the EA Welfare Committee (both EA members and non-EA members) for their work on this resolution.
