| Text Attachment | Dear President Pollack, It is my pleasure to convey Resolution 1: Approval of the 2017-2018 Standing Rules to you. This resolution is an annual update to the Standing Rules of the Student Assembly. Most of the changes are minor corrections to grammatical errors and updates to changes in the Student Assembly structure. The majority of updates have to do with changing the references of "Vice President of Outreach" and "Vice President of Public Relations" to "Vice President of External Affairs" (we merged the two positions late last semester for redundancy issues). Another major change has to do with requiring a 2/3 vote of members present to move New Business into Business of the Day (during which the SA can vote on the resolutions in question).
