Text Attachment | Dear Cat,
I appreciate Joe’s conveying to me Student Assembly Resolution 34: In Determining University Weather-Related Operating Status: Requesting Equitable Student Representation. I understand the Student Assembly’s interest in having student input on these decisions and want to make you aware that the work of the Incident Management Team and Incident Leadership Team is not limited to weather-related closings.
These groups deal with essential emergency functions and university policies regarding complex incidents that affect the Cornell community. Because of this, I encourage the Student Assembly to reach out to Christine Stallmann, chief compliance officer, to discuss your concerns and ideas that can assist us to continue to make Cornell’s weather protocols process more robust. As we begin to plan for potential inclement weather this fall and winter, I know Ms. Stallmann and her colleagues welcome the opportunity to hear your feedback.
Sincerely,
Martha Pollack
