Information on changes (there is currently silence in the bylaws): 1) Chairs and voting members representing the UA are elected to standing committees; 2) In the instance of a vacancy, the chair of the standing committee will be elected from its voting membership to be approved by the VP of Ops; 3) In the instance that a non-UA member is elected chair, they are considered ex-officio members and will regularly attend UA meetings/provide committee updates. ---- Changes that are likely to be raised as friendly amendments on October 27, 2020: 1) Bennett Sherr is an Undergraduate Representative, not an SA Representative; There is a proposed change/recommendation to change the "by" to "from" on line 21 of the resolution ---- Best, Logan Kenney (Chair, University Assembly)
