Rebecca Dillon
College of Engineering/Computer Information Sciences Candidate
As a Program Manager in Cornell Bowers CIS, I am interested in contributing to the broader Cornell community and improving the Cornell employee experience. I am excited to make sure that the voice of all employees is considered during all university decisions. I will work to ensure that employees are treated fairly and compensated appropriately, with the best benefits possible. I want work-life balance to not just be a slogan, but to actually be reality.

Division of Human Resources Representative (Term Ends Spring 2024)

Jamie Doss
Division of Human Resources Candidate
I have been a member of the Cornell community since March of 2022 when I joined the Division of Human Resources (HR) as a Talent Sourcer in the Office of Talent Attraction and Recruitment. In August of 2022, I was promoted to Talent Acquisition Partner, which entails recruiting for high volume positions and collaborating with people leaders and HR colleagues to fill those vacancies. In the Division of HR, we actively work to create structure within Cornell while also focusing our efforts on recruiting new talent and retaining employees. Through these experiences, I believe I can use my platform to provide valuable input for Cornell employee policies, advocate for current and future members of our workforce, and engage our community. I have a strong sense of dedication and commitment to Cornell, and I would be honored to serve as the Division of HR Representative for the upcoming term. Thank you for considering my candidacy, and I look forward to the opportunity to perpetuate the mission of our illustrious institution.

Alumni Affairs and Development Representative (Term ends Spring 2026)

Lisa Zacharias

It has been both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Alumni Affairs and Development Representative for the past 2 years.
While being a member of the Employee Assembly I've also served as the Parliamentarian and a member of the BPC committee, advocating vigorously for all employees, addressing questions and concerns.
The Employee Assembly is a a great way to meet people and help make Cornell a better place to work for us all!
I would love the opportunity to continue contributing my time and efforts in making a difference for the campus community.

Sophie Lanchez
Cornell Tech Candidate
As a Cornell Tech Employee, I would like to become a part of the Employee Assembly to advocate for my fellow colleagues and be the voice of Cornell Tech. I care about our community on the Cornell Tech campus, and I would like to contribute in positive ways to the well-being of the employees here on our campus.

Exempt Employees' Representative At-Large (Term Ends Spring 2026)

Wendy Treat
wgt2@cornell.edu
Exempt Employees' Representative Candidate
Having worked at Cornell for 30+ years, I have gained an immense amount of knowledge and transferrable skills that, in my perspective, would benefit the Employee Assembly and the employee constituency as a whole. From starting out as a cashier at Willard Straight Dining in 1988 to my current role as Program Coordinator for Professional, International and Clinical Services at the College of Veterinary Medicine, the experiences and opportunities that have been provided to me have helped to shape me into the person I am today.

Having the experience of being a previous staff member in the Office of the Assemblies also adds a unique lens that I can look through and offer a fresh view on issues and concerns that may come to the floor from a broader perspective. In closing, Cornell has provided me with some incredible opportunities and resources, and I feel it's time for me to contribute back to the community by doing what I can to improve the overall staff experience.

University Relations and Central Administration Representative (Term Ends Spring 2026)

Kate Supron
University Relations and Central Administration Candidate
I have served on the EA since 2018 as the University Relations seat, which has now been expanded to cover both University Relations and Central Administration staff to ensure more complete representation.

I believe in the Assemblies and the role they play in shared governance at Cornell.

Members of the EA work to identify issues of concern to employees, work to educate ourselves on what work is already underway across the university in the identified issue area, how we can help support the work of our colleagues, and when and how to advocate for change and improvement of university practices and policies.

I currently serve as Vice President of Operations and serve on the Communications and Education Committees.

I would be pleased to continue my service.

Veterans Representative At-Large (Term ends Spring 2026)

Jeramy Kruser
Veterans Representative Candidate
I am a U.S. Marine veteran and a member of the Veterans Colleague Network Group (VCNG). I have been involved in shared governance at Cornell for nearly a decade in a variety of positions, including as the inaugural Veterans Representative on the Employee Assembly. I serve our staff and veteran community at Cornell and throughout the state. My background and experience make me a good candidate for the Veterans' Representative seat on the Employee Assembly.

Women's Representative At-Large (Term ends Spring 2026)

Erika Crawley
Women's Representative Candidate
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "We are caught in an inescapable web of mutuality tied to a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly." I have spent so much of my career solely focused on how to enhance the experiences of students. I have yet to have the opportunity to focus on enhancing the experience of faculty and staff. I would love to apply the same care and creativity to positively impacting the experiences of faculty and staff at Cornell.
