He/Him
I have always believed in simplistic leadership. I believe that a leader with a determination to advance the goals of others is far superior to one with a compulsion to advance self-determined ambitions. As such, I do not have aspirations beyond serving as a conduit for the needs and desires of the student body during my prospective time as a member of the student assembly. My choice in campaigning stems from a perspective I have formed during my short time here at Cornell: this university is a tremendous place, with tremendous people, that remains tremendously difficult to navigate. My primary ambition is to eliminate the avoidable difficulties that prohibit students at Cornell from fully enjoying the aforementioned aspects of place and people. I hope that Cornell’s esteemed student body will agree with me on that simplistic and achievable goal. I stand for equity, community, and expression through the pursuit of knowledge, but above all else, efficiency and the well-being of myself and others. If this University should be a place where any person can find instruction in any study, then any person must first be able to find a sense of pride in calling this University their home. If elected, I hope to make that a reality.
