It is with pleasure that I convey for your consideration, EA Resolution I: "In Support of the Staff Community at the Inauguration of Cornell’s 13th President". I sponsored this resolution with Greg Mezey, as Chair and Executive Vice Chair of the Employee Assembly, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the EA. The resolution was passed by the Assembly at our meeting on Aug 19.

Thank you for forwarding Resolutions 61, 62, 63 and 64 regarding the Student Activities Finance Commission and its relationship to the Student Assembly.
I approve these resolutions contingent upon three actions: written clarification of what is meant by ‘independent by-line funded organization’; clarification that the existing balance between the SAFC and other by-line funded organizations will be maintained; and the identification of a staff advisor.
