Hey Cornell Class of 2029!
   
My name is Jai, and I’m excited to announce that I will be running to be your freshman representative! 
   
Being from New York and having lived here for the last couple of months, I have seen truly how incredible Cornell is. Being a factor for change, I’ve also identified areas where we can improve. Why? Because I want the Student Assembly to reflect student voices rather than just talking about them. I’m here to deliver, and here are my ideas:
   
   1. Mental Health and Community: I will push for better access to counseling and support as well as more relaxation spaces.
   2. Transparency with Housing: From better roommate matching to an increase in dorm maintenance, I will push for a smoother process and more fair, clear info.
   3. Better Dining Access and Options: We all want longer hours, more variety, and faster lines. Vote for me and it will happen.
   4. Direct Feedback from Student Assembly: I will be clear in what I am working on, and with open surveys and quick reply I will always act on what matters to everyone.
   
I don’t have all the answers, but I care enough to ask the right questions and follow through. Cornell is a big school, but our voices don’t have to be small.
