Commending the Service of Jessica Withers and Erik Kalweit

• Abstract: In their roles as Director and Senior Coordinator, Jessica Withers and Erik Kalweit have served in the Office of the Assemblies. In that time, they have continually served the Student Assembly and have provided this body with the support necessary to run Cornell’s student government. This resolution commends Jessica and Erik for their dedication and continued service to the Cornell community.

  Whereas, Jessica Withers and Erik Kalweit have served tirelessly in support of the Student Assembly, Graduate and Professional Student Assembly, Employee Assembly, Faculty Senate, University Assembly, and the Constituency-Elected Trustees;

  Whereas, Jessica and Erik have been essential resources in ensuring that actions of the Student Assembly are carried out;

  Whereas, Jessica and Erik have been trusted advisors to the Executive Board and the full membership of the Student Assembly, lending their expertise without bias;

  Whereas, the Student Assembly is indebted to Jessica and Erik’s service.

  Be it therefore resolved, the Student Assembly commends Jessica Withers and Erik Kalweit for their dedication and service to the Assembly and their continued service to shared governance at Cornell.
