The Student Assembly is the official governing body of undergraduate students at Cornell. We advocate for the best interest of the student body and work on campus issues that impact students’ daily lives.

The Student Assembly is the governing body of the over 14,000 undergraduates at Cornell, serving as the principal liaison between students and the administration while lobbying for policies and programs that better the undergraduate experience. The SA has legislative authority over the policies of the Office of the Dean of Students, and establishes the undergraduate Student Activity Fee and guidelines for its distribution. Meetings are held each Thursday during the academic year from 4:45–6:30 p.m. in the Memorial Room of Willard Straight Hall, unless otherwise noted.
