Resolution Abstract Status
SA R24 (2017-2018): Allocating Part of the Student Assembly Surplus This resolution intends to follow through on allocating funding to support underserved communities that was originally proposed in AY 2015-2016 S.A. Resolution 40. Adopted by the Assembly
SA R28 (2017-2018): Mandating Cornell's Commitment to the Economic Justice of Puerto Rico and the Operational Transparency of its Investments This resolution recommends that Cornell University investigate its holdings and divest from any and all Puerto Rican debt obligations. Additionally, Cornell should create a fair investment policy in regard to government debt as well as disclose its investment partnerships in yearly tax filings. Rejected by the President
SA R29 (2017-2018): Amending Community Sponsorship Access in the Student Assembly Bylaws This resolution seeks to amend the bylaws in order to make it easier for members of the student body to submit resolutions to the student assembly. Adopted by the Assembly
