Resolution Abstract Status
SA R66 (2019-2020): Instituting Mandatory IDP Training for SA Members This resolution calls for the SA to institute a mandatory Intergroup Dialogue Project training into the SA new member orientation. This training will be repeated with every SA new member orientation. Adopted by the Assembly
SA R67 (2019-2020): Religious Holiday Conflicts This resolution recommends that no exams are scheduled on major religious holidays where these holidays are defined as the bolded dates on the Cornell academic schedule. Furthermore this resolution recommends a campus-wide form for students to report conflict exams on religious holidays not outlined by the Cornell academic schedule and class days missed for religious holidays. Make-up exams will be required for every class a student reports a conflict exam and class recordings or slides/notes must be provided for missed classes. Acknowledged by the President
SA R68 (2019-2020): Online Platform to Answer Student Questions This resolution recommends that instructors utilize an online platform to answer any questions students may have. Asking and answering questions is an important part of the learning process. Furthermore, this resolution increases interactions between students and course staff outside traditional office hours. All students could benefit from this platform, as it fosters an open dialogue. Acknowledged by the President
