  • Summary / Notes:

    Dear Craig,

My thanks to you and Adam Howell for submitting Resolution 11: Promoting Staff Participation in Cornell Campus Climate Change Literacy Goals.

I agree with the intention of this resolution to advance climate change literacy opportunities for our staff employees, and more generally, I appreciate the Employee Assembly’s support of the university’s efforts to build climate change literacy among the campus community. I encourage the assembly to continue to work with the Division of Human Resources to make staff aware of educational efforts and opportunities and to encourage them to participate.

I have been very impressed with the level of staff engagement in our sustainability efforts, and I fully expect that this engagement will continue as we consider climate change literacy strategies and goals.

    Sincerely,

    Martha E. Pollack
