I am pleased to share EA Resolution 2 with you:
Resolution 2: LGBTQ+ Inclusion for Workday & Campus Records
Resolution 2 was sponsored by David Sun, EA Member and Residence Hall Director for Clara Dickson Hall, with Ulysses Smith, Program Coordinator, Diversity & Inclusion Strategies in the Department of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity (DIWD) and Brian Patchcoski, Associate Dean of Students for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC).
The resolution supports staff members in expressing their gender identity on campus and brings the university into compliance with federal regulations regarding the workplace. The EA, DIWD, and LGBTRC hope that the resolution, in conjunction with the tireless efforts of responsible staff members, will create better mechanisms for transgender staff members to express their true identity as well as foster a more inclusive workplace.
