Subject: [oa-actions-l] EA Resolution 7 - Slope Day Consistency with Cornell Values
President Skorton-
On behalf of the entire EA and resolution sponsors, I’m sharing Resolution 7 Slope Day consistency with Cornell values with you. Resolution 7 is a sense of body resolution that encourages the Slope Day Planning Committee to select artists for Slope Day and other events whose acts and on-stage persona are welcoming and respectful to our diverse community. This resolution was brought to the EA by many members of the staff community who were offended by one artist’s lyrics at Slope Day. We would ask that this resolution be shared with the Dean of Students office.
