    Dear Nate,

Thank you to the GPSA for your efforts to support an active graduate and professional student voice on matters of national importance through active participation in the March for Science occurring on April 22, 2017 in Washington D.C. I appreciate the GPSA’s interest in the work of the graduate student group Advancing Science and Policy (ASAP), which is organizing charter bus service for graduate and professional students to attend the April 22 event, and understand that the Division of Student and Campus Life also has supported this effort financially as well as facilitated a connection with students at Weill interested in participating.

I am pleased to see the active interest of GPSA, ASAP, and the Graduate School in supporting transportation for interested graduate and professional students to attend this event and have their voices heard supporting science and evidence-based policies. Thank you for approving GPSA funds to support this worthy effort.

    Sincerely,

    Hunter Rawlings
