Dear President Pollack,I respectfully convey Resolution 16: Demanding Cornell Fight for Fair Terms for the Remote Services its Community is Required to Use. This resolution addresses the concerns that students have in using online platforms like Zoom and CaSHNet which are services that mandate for the users to waive their right to sue in court or as part of a class action lawsuit. This resolution recommends that Cornell must contact third-party vendors and fight to ensure that their terms do not strip students of their essential legal rights. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.Respectfully submitted,Andy Leonel Barrientos-GómezAndy Leonel Barrientos-GómezPhD Candidate | Romance StudiesPresident | Graduate & Professional Student AssemblyPresident | Writer's Block: Short Fiction Writing GroupCornell University
