Dear President Rawlings,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Resolution 2: A Resolution Approving the GPSA Internal Budget for the 2016-2017 Term.
This resolution sets the internal budget of the GPSA for the year. The unusual size of the budget is due to a $20,000 allocation that we have appropriated for Anabel's Grocery. The appropriation was approved unanimously with the understanding that the GPSA could revoke the funding at any time up until the fund's actual disbursement. This was necessary due to lingering concerns over the status of the grocery store, in particular with respect to graduate and professional student participation. GPSA leadership is meeting with Anabel's Grocery leadership to answer some of these questions and arrange for a more formal update to be presented to the GPSA general body.
