Dear President Rawlings,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Resolution 4: In Support of the Maplewood Redevelopment Project
The GPSA is very pleased with how closely we've been able to work with the university administration--Jeremy Thomas, Sr. Director of Cornell Real Estate in particular--and want to commend this collaboration as a model for how we can work together on other issues in the future. We are very pleased with the results that we have been able to achieve together, and endorse the design as it currently stands. Additionally, this resolution calls on the Town of Ithaca to approve the project at their next meeting, and not delay this much needed increase in quality, affordable housing for graduate and professional students. Although, not explicitly stated, we plan to have copies of the resolution forwarded to town officials.
