Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Resolution #5 - Ratification of Ivy+ Student Groups Constitution.
The Ivy+ Summit is an annual meeting of Graduate & Professional Student (GPS) Representative bodies of the Ivy+ schools where we have very productive discussions and share solutions for important issues facing the GPS body at our schools. However, due to a lack of formal structure surrounding decision making, coupled with a recent addition of a member school that was very controversial, member schools have come up with rules regarding addition of new members and decision making. Please note that decisions made in the scope of the Ivy+ Summit are limited to hosting rights and member additions; no decisions made in the Summit gathering would affect anything that the GPSA does at Cornell.
This resolution serves to approve the ways members will be added and how the member schools will make decisions on that matter and on hosting rights.
Sincerely,
Ekarina Winarto, GPSA President
