Dear David,I’m writing to acknowledge and thank you for sharing GPSA Resolution 6: On the Proposed Changes to the Student Code of Conduct. The Board of Trustees adopted a new Student Code of Conduct and Procedures at its December 10 meeting. Many of the specific issues noted in the GPSA’s resolution have been addressed in the final policy. Other concerns were thoughtfully considered but conflicted with input received from other stakeholders or were not deemed implementable. The new code makes clear that ongoing collaborative engagement with all of the university’s assemblies will continue in the future as amendments are proposed and considered. I very much appreciate the GPSA’s past and ongoing engagement on these important issues.Sincerely,Martha PollackMartha E.
