  Dear GPSA members of the ESA, CSR committee and Owen ‘Gus’ Dunn-Hindle, Faculty Teaching, Advising and Mentoring Award Committee Chair:

   

  Thank you for transmitting GPSA Resolution 8: ESG recommendations on discussion of divestment from companies engaged in weapons manufacturing, and the student referendum results and summary.

   

  Following transmission of the referendum results, I replied to the Student Assembly President on May 30, 2024. In that reply, I addressed the request to divest from the ten companies you also list in Resolution 8. Rather than repeating that response here, please see the link above. In addition, GPSA Resolution 8 asks that I respond to questions from the Ad Hoc Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, and Governance (ESG).That response was sent to Owen ‘Gus’ Dunn-Hindle on June 4, 2024.
