Dear Varun,
Thank you for conveying to me Resolution 21: Affirming the Student Assembly and Graduate and Professional Student Assembly Cornell Health Survey. I am very grateful for the approach taken to develop recommendations. It is clear that you took the time to investigate this issue, survey students, and gain a broad understanding of the health fee. It also is evident that students are not only interested in additional services to support mental health, but understand the cost implications accompanied with those services.
As we make final decisions around the budgetary process, your input will certainly be taken into strong consideration. We will plan to pursue a more significant health fee increase than we have in the past, and a final determination on that will be forthcoming.
