Dear President Rawlings,

I would like to convey the Student Assembly's 30th resolution of the year to you. This resolution seeks to affirm Cornell’s support of Transgender Individuals.

Resolution 30 is Affirming Cornell’s Stance on Supporting the Rights of Transgender Individuals. The Student Assembly is very appreciative of the measures that members of the Cornell Administration have taken to allow students, faculty, staff, and visitors to use the restroom or facility that corresponds to their gender identity and hope that the University will continue to affirm this. The Student Assembly also requests that the University speak out against the revocation of the federal guidelines that specified
