    Dear Sarah,

    Thank you for sharing Resolution 40, Improving Event Planning at Cornell. I would like to point out that the guidelines for using the Event Registration Form already contain much of the information you are requesting. In the guidelines, there is a section on accessibility, providing links to useful information and listing accessibility@cornell.edu as a resource for asking questions. There also is a sustainability section, again providing useful links and listing sustainableevent@cornell.edu as a point of contact.

    I appreciate the Student Assembly’s interest in improving this process, and urge you to collaborate with the Event Management Planning Team, a key stakeholder in the event registration and approval process, to address concerns and the feasibility of your recommendations. Joe Scaffido and Jennifer Davis, co-chairs of this group, already have expressed their willingness to meet with the sponsors of this resolution.
