Dear Sarah,
Thank you for sharing Resolution 45: Regarding the Proposed Final Exam Schedule with me. I understand that University Registrar Cassie Dembosky was in support of the recommendation of reducing the number of back-to-back exams, and will be working with Dean Burns to finalize a decision on guiding principles.
I also understand that is it not feasible to present three scenarios to the Student Assembly prior to publishing the exam schedule. It is a labor-intensive process and to do so delays the release of the schedule by several days. I would like to ask the Student Assembly to trust Registrar Dembosky to choose the schedule based upon the guiding principles.
