Dear Acting President Kotlikoff, I would like to convey Resolution 40: Usage of the Student Assembly Surplus to you. This resolution is sponsored by Emma Johnston and Matthew Stefanko. The Student Assembly, a part of the byline student organization cohort, is expected to have a thorough plan for the surplus funds. This resolution seeks to spend the Student Assembly’s surplus on the creation of Diversity Fellows, replenishing the Students Helping Students Fund, additional resources for Social Consultants, and increasing the Diversity Innovation Fund. The determination of the funding came about through thorough review and consideration by many Student Assembly representatives and passed by a unanimous vote of members present.
