  Thank you for forwarding to me Resolution 51, Recommendation for Cornell University to Amend its GPA Scale.  I am sharing your resolution with Dean of the Faculty Charles Van Loan.  As you may realize, grading is under the purview of the faculty, so it would be best for the Faculty Senate to consider whether the current system should be studied and if changes are warranted.
