I would like to convey Resolution 58: Funding SAD Light Therapy Lamps to you.

This resolution is sponsored by Matthew Indimine, Miranda Kasher, and Angelica Cullo.

This resolution seeks to allocate money from the Student Assembly Infrastructure Fund to light therapy lamps int he Cornell Minds Matter Resource Center. Although the initial Student Assembly Infrastructure Fund Committee [SAIFC] did not receive funding for full spectrum Seasonal Affective Disorder lights, the SAIFC voted to grant funding from the surplus generated. The SAD lamps Gannett sells are unaffordable and inconvenient for students. Based on the charge of the SAIFC the project meets the requirements. The SAIFC plans to allocate $400 to fund four full spectrum SAD desk lamps at Cornell Minds Matter's Resource Center and $2000 to twenty full spectrum SAD desk lamps to campus libraries and service centers. This will be based on a continued partnership with the Cornell library system.
Thank you for the time and consideration.

    Kind regards,
    Juliana
