Dear President Rawlings,
I would like to report the Student Assembly's sixth resolution of the year to you. I am excited to report that the Student Assembly has created an ad-hoc committee inspired by the Graduate and Professional Community Initiative to do research and planning for student priorities.
Resolution 6 is “Policy Research and Planning Committee.” This resolution establishes an ad-hoc committee to compile information about potential policies that can inform representatives and be incorporated into a future comprehensive strategic plan for the SA. We hope that this committee will be a valuable resource to the Student Assembly as we try to tackle the myriad of issues pertinent to the student body.
