Summary / Notes:
Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you UA Resolution #7, "Charter Change Supporting the Office of the Complainant's Advisor." This resolution, as a charter change, requires your approval before going into effect.
The proposal is sponsored by the Chair of the Codes and Judicial Committee, Matthew Battaglia, on behalf of the Office of the Complainants Advisor. The Office of the Complainants Advisor recommended being brought under the purview of the University Assembly for the sake of creating a parallel structure with the Judicial Codes Counselors.
The Assembly and the Office of the Complainants advisors strongly feel that is in the best interest of the campus community to elevate the Complainants Advisor's office to equal footing with the Judicial Codes Counselors so that the community can better appreciate the parity between those two offices and the important work they both do.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Best,
Gabe
