9 | Funding Request for the Big Red Barn | Acknowledged by the President | With such a large amount of funding in the GPSA reserve fund and the 2022-2023 operating budget, giving back to the larger graduate and professional student community would be a great use of some of these funds. 6 | Retroactively Compensating GPSA Executive Members in Accordance with Resolution 3 (22-23) and Resolution 18 (21-22) | Acknowledged by the President | Resolution 3 (Amendments to Appendix B of the GPSA Charter) was passed in the fall of 2022 as a result of President Pollack’s comments on Resolution 18 (2021-2022 term). Resolution 3 states that Graduate and Professional Student Assembly Executive Committee members shall receive a financial incentive for their service. Additionally, candidates running for the 2022-2023 term nominated themselves with the understanding that Executive Committee positions would have a financial incentive given that Resolution 18 was passed prior to elections. As such, this resolution proposes withdrawing funds from the GPSA’s reserve account to compensate the 2022-2023 term Executive Committee members. | 02/10/2023 6:00pm | Graduate and Professional Student Assembly | AY 2022-2023 |
