Engineers, let me be your voice.

The voices of engineers often go unheard. Civics isn't always our strong suit; the tireless dedication we pour into our academic lives is commendable, but it often keeps us from advocating for ourselves.

I know the struggle. I know what it's like to submit a PSET late and try to clear your mind by doing laundry, only to find the elevator is broken and the washers are out of order.

IT'S THE SMALL THINGS THAT COUNT! The everyday, often-overlooked elements of your day are what allow you to thrive as an engineer. I look forward to advocating for those things, and for you.

My initiatives in office will be:
Increasing funding for campus housing (modern furniture, better study spaces, reliable laundry, accessible outlets, working elevators)
Increasing funding for Cornell Dining (good health = good grades)
Adding nutritional vending machines (sandwiches, wraps, etc.) to Engineering buildings
Expanding the Office of Inclusive Excellence tutoring curriculum to cover all distribution-required courses
    Increasing funding to project teams/research
    LISTENING TO YOU

An engineering class representative must be committed, passionate, and engaged within the community. My name is Katherine Krishtopa and I believe that if reelected, I will continue to be.

If reelected, I would be committed to ensuring that every student’s voice is heard and valued. I will actively seek feedback from my peers, advocate for them, and work to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all. I know that engineering is built on collaboration, and I am dedicated to creating connections that strengthen our community. As a current representative, I am here to be a dependable advocate for engineers, thus ensuring every voice is heard and valued and I will continue to be exactly that!

   My Goals:

   • Support student organizations by ensuring clubs and project teams receive the funding and resources needed
   • Expand networking events and create more and research opportunities
   • Increase resources (more access to makerspaces and software access)
   • Improve academic support by pushing for more tutoring resources and peer mentorship
   • Listen and collaborate with you, my peers!

I want to be accessible to you to ask questions, give suggestions, or just to talk.
A vote for me is a vote for you!

What's up Cornell,

I'm Patrick Yang, Cornell Engineering Class of 29, and I am running for your engineering student representative.

I'm originally from Connecticut, but I am slowly considering myself a New Yorker (albeit Ithaca, NY).

I loved my first semester in the College of Engineering, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have its imperfections.

As a representative for COE, I'd advocate for:

Less academic stress — fairer prelim scheduling, clearer grading, and better access to the courses students actually need. I’m sure a lot of us know the feeling of barely finishing one round of prelims before getting slammed by the next.

Better student support — more accessible mental health resources and stronger systems that actually help students when things get overwhelming.

Clearer advising and communication — faster, more reliable help with schedules, requirements, and long-term planning. I know a lot of us have had moments where we honestly have no idea what classes or credits we need, and it shouldn’t feel that confusing

I want to help make Cornell Engineering a place where students feel supported, informed, and heard, not just academically, but as people too.

So, if you want change, vote Patrick
