A freshman class representative must be committed, passionate, and engaged within the community. My name is Katherine Krishtopa and I believe that if elected, I will be just that.
If elected, I would strive to understand the needs and concerns of my peers by actively seeking feedback and highlighting inclusive decision-making to ensure everyone feels represented. I believe in creating a welcoming environment for all and am dedicated to fostering positive connections. With a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine desire to make a difference, I am here to be a dependable advocate for our freshman class, thus ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
My Goals:
- Increase funding for diversity, equity and inclusion organizations and initiatives
- Expand the Blue Light system through campus to improve safety
- Increase mental health days and advocate for more professional counseling staff and reducing wait times for appointments
- Help raise wages for student workers
- Listen and collaborate with you, my peers!
