    I. Call to Order  

       a. E. Crawley called the meeting to order at 12:01pm.  

       b. Members Present: M. Bante, R. Boche, M. Boggs, C. Cornell, E. Crawley, J. Doss, T. Hambury, D. Hinshaw, S. Lanchez,  
          K. Karnuta, E. Krumm Powers, J. Kruser, K. Mahoney, D. McDermitt, P. Mengers, A. Morse, S. Resue, I. Solís Cruz,  
          K. Supron, D. Surine, W. Treat, D. Weirson  

       c. Members Absent: B. Arnold, A. Blakeslee, F. Cantone, S. Chang, B. Dixon, Y. Luckain, K. Phipps, J. VanHouten  

       d. Also Present: E. Kalweit, K. Miranda, R. Howard  

    II. E. Crawley read the Land Acknowledgement of the Gayogo̱ ho꞉nǫ (Cayuga Nation).  

    III. Approval of the October 16, 2024 meeting minutes  

       a. W. Treat motioned to adjust Article 4, Section B from Gordon Barker to Gordon Barger.  

           i. R. Boche motioned to approve the amended minutes by unanimous consent.  

           ii. The Motion passed by unanimous consent.  

    IV. Business of the Day  

       a. Kenneth Miranda, Chief Investment Officer, gave a presentation and took questions from Assembly members.  

       b. Incidental Vacancies  

           i. W. Treat informed the Assembly of a request to fill an open position.  

               1. Rose Howard was introduced to the assembly, and she gave a short presentation about herself.  

                   a. The floor was opened to questions from the Assembly.  

           ii. The Employee Assembly entered executive session.  

               1. The Assembly left executive session at 12:55PM.  

               2. Rose Howard was announced as the new College of Engineering/Computer Information Sciences Representative.  

       c. Parking at Cornell  

           i. A discussion on parking was had by the Employee Assembly.  

    V. Committee Reports  

       a. Executive Committee  

           i. I. Solís Cruz stated that there will be another coffee with coworkers on December 5th, 2024.  

       b. Communications, Outreach, and Recognition Committee  

           i. Nothing to report.  

       c. Employee Education and Development Committee  

           i. D. Surine spoke on behalf of the committee, and stated that they are working on equitable educational benefits for staff,  
              an online part-time bachelor’s program was approved by the faculty senate, and they are working with new members of the Assembly.  

       d. Employee Welfare Committee  

           i. Nothing to report.  

       e. Benefits and Policy Committee  

           i. B. Dixon stated the committee went over the inclement weather policy and the guidelines surrounding it. They also discussed  
              a new payroll policy with a HR representative.  

       f. Elections Committee  

           i. The elections committee is looking to have a meeting in the coming month.  

    VI. Motion for a five minute extension  

       a. W. Treat motioned to extend.  

       b. The motion passed by unanimous consent.  

    VII. Open Discussion  

       a. There was nothing to discuss.  

    VIII. Adjournment  

       a. W. Treat motioned to adjourn.  

       b. The motion passed by unanimous consent.  

    The meeting was adjourned at 1:18PM.
