Approval of the February 19, 2025 meeting minutes D. Wierson motioned to approve The motion passed by unanimous consent
Call for late additions to the agenda There were no late additions
Business of the day Resolution to Support the University’s Commitment to DEI The Executive Board is sponsoring a resolution. Sustaining Assembly Budget M. Benda motioned to enter executive session The motion passed 16 yes votes to 4 no votes and 1 abstention. Interim President Kotlikoff and Vice President Lovely scheduled for the April 16th meeting E. Crawley stated that the president and vice president will be taking pre-submitted questions. Elections I. Solís Cruz and S. Resue gave an update about the upcoming elections.
Committee Reports Executive Committee I. Solís Cruz informed the assembly of updates on the graduate students unionizing, budgeting information, and how the committee is talking with Vice President Lovely. Communications, Outreach and Recognition Committee R. Howard stated that the committee met on February 11 and told the assembly about the EA spotlight. Employee Education and Development Committee Nothing to report Employee Welfare Committee D. Wierson reported that the committee discussed the DEI letter and the implications. Benefits and Policy Committee Nothing to report Elections Committee S. Resue reported that there were no additional updates.
Liaison Reports UA Campus Codes Committee Nothing to Report UA Campus Committee on Infrastructure, Technology and the Environment I. Solís Cruz reported that the committee is looking for a meeting time. UA Campus Welfare Committee Nothing to report Committee for Campus-Constituency-Elected Trustees E. Crawley reported that they will be having a meeting the following day. Faculty Senate Nothing to Report
Open Discussion The Assembly had a discussion on the alumni who lost access to their Cornell account, and the outlook online archive. They also discussed the new policy concerning security cameras and increased police on Cornell’s campus.
