  • First, we will be voting on the Final Exam Policy change resolution. If passed, it will be presented at Thursday’s SA meeting.

   

  • Each of the four initiative teams will discuss their plans of action in breakout rooms. The four initiatives are as follows: Wellness Center, Final Exam Policy, Wellness Website, and Gym Memberships.
    • The Wellness Center is in the research stage. The Cornell Mental Health Review states a need for a centralized location for mental and physical health resources, whose goals align with those of our prospective wellness center.
    • The Final Exam Policy group aims to change the current policy that states students with more than two final exams within 24 hours may ask their professor for an alternate exam time. The goal is to change this time period to 30 hours. This has been explained in a resolution that will be presented to the Student Assembly in the near future.
    • The Wellness Website group is looking to start a sort of virtual wellness center as explained above, centralizing wellness resources on campus into a single website. This is also in the research stages.
    • The Gym Membership group seeks to extend "no membership hours" at the campus gyms in future semesters.
