Z. deRham stated the land acknowledgement.
3.Approval of the December 4th, 2025 Meeting Minutes
The motion to approve the minutes passes through unanimous consent with the note of a clerical error.
Flournoy motions to move public hearing above presentations and reports. No dissent.
4. Public Comment Microphone
Fall 2025 Referendum Tech Issues
One speaker noted the lack of speakers was due to the lack of visibility, as the email was sent to students’ spam.
5. Presentations
Code and Procedures Review Committee Listening Session
Cornell Student Code of Conduct (Reference)
Presentation by Code and Procedures Review Committee members Nicholas Brennan and Jen Michael to gather feedback and make recommendations regarding the content, structure, and procedures of the Student Code of Conduct.
6.Consent Calendar
Resolution 22: Transferring Funds to the Collegiate Readership Program
Approved by unanimous consent
7.Reports of Officers, Committees, and Liasons
E. Galperin reports that the dining committee is continuing conversation regarding Trillium.
E. Chadhuri reports that many in the University Assembly are interested in writing their own code and are writing drafts to the committee. He adds that this is something all assemblies can do, and if anyone were interested, they can reach out.
M. Erlich reports that the academic policy committee does not have a meeting set yet.
A. Cekic reports that he is working on editing the code and was wondering if anyone was interested in joining. He is also planning on creating a resolution to make club registration year-wide and another to turn the music room into a room for music by putting in more instruments.
8.Announcements
Z. deRham announces that a Qualtrics has been created for the Director of Ethics and will be found in the next newsletter along with students helping students regarding the Ganędagǫ flooding. She adds there is a vacancy for the undergraduate student representative to the Faculty Library Board. She further asks for a Chief of Staff substitute. She further announces that SUNY advocacy day is in 2 weeks and student assembly representatives are welcome.

K. Young appoints J. Swavy as Vice President Deputy of DEI. The appointment is confirmed.
