Hi Class of 2028! I’m Jinzhou Wu, an international student studying computer science and government, and I’m running to be your Freshman Representative. I’m passionate about using technology to drive social change, and I want to bring fresh ideas and real solutions to the issues we care about at Cornell.

You might not know much about the Student Assembly (SA), a lot of freshmen don't. Sadly, it faces criticism for bureaucracy and lack of transparency. As a Freshman Representative, I’ll bring a new and bold perspective that is a catalyst for change, and pay attention to what truly matters to us and deliver practical, not just make-me-look-good, resolutions:

   - Campus Safety: More streetlights, safer fraternity regulations, increased administrative accountability, and protection of free speech.
   - Convenience: WiFi on the Slope, take-out boxes during exam weeks, reduced laundry costs, free TCAT for all, and more meal swipe options.
   - Community Issues: Fair wages for student workers and better financial aid for international students.
   - Transparency: Clearer SA funding decisions and voting processes so I can represent you fully.
Let’s make real change together. Follow @cornell.change on Ins, and vote for Jinzhou.
