I’m Nick, a PhD student in the Physics Dept. and as the current Executive Vice President of GPSA I’ve accomplished the following over the last year : 1) Established a committee to distribute over $500,000 in accumulated rollover to support grad interests (facilities upgrades, program expansions, etc) 2) Supported freedom of expression at Cornell by organizing GPSA's response to the Expressive Activity Policy (most comprehensive among the assemblies) and 3) Expanded the executive board to include all committee chairs (better coordination, workflow).

I’m running for GPSA President to 1) Ensure the special committee completes its work and returns $500,000 in rollover funding to graduate and professional students through large special grants to offices, community groups, and graduate student organizations, 2) pause increases to the student activity fee for the following two years (life in Ithaca is expensive enough and GPSA can balance the budget), 3) Facilitate a formal collaborative relationship between GPSA and CGSU, and 4) support new opportunities for club funding through separate grants for event-based proposals.
