• Bee Candelaria

Hi! I’m Bee Candelaria, a Classics PhD student, soon to be in my second year. As a humanities voting member, I am committed to representing the unique interests of others in the humanities, as well as to building bridges between our diverse fields and those of the many other graduate and professional schools. Although I am new to Cornell, I am excited to advocate for a better, more equitable graduate experience. Some of my goals include providing stronger support for disabled and first generation graduate and professional students, increasing involvement in humanities fields in GPSA, and promoting resolutions which help us get the most out of our time at Cornell. Through transparent communication and open feedback, I strive to address the needs and wants of our community.
