I would like to continue being a voting member for Social Sciences and an Advocacy Committee member. I am a PhD student in Human Behavior and Design with nearly a decade of interdisciplinary experience primarily focused in the realm of social science. I have held student government and club positions for over 5 years, and I find that advocating for diverse groups, sustainability, and serving my communities to be very meaningful. My background helps me communicate and empathize across contexts and disciplines. I have had consistent attendance to GPSA meetings, voted on several initiatives, and enthusiastically collaborated to advocate for the rights of Cornell student free expression. It would be an honor to be able to continue to serve in this assembly.
