Faculty Advising, Teaching, and Mentorship Awards

After receiving nearly a hundred nominations and utilizing a highly select award process, the Faculty Advising, Teaching, and Mentorship Awards Committee (FATMAC) is happy to announce the 17 awardees for this year’s FATMAC awards! They each fall under one of five different categories that impact graduate and professional students.

These awardees are epitomes of Cornell excellence and have demonstrated determination and dedication to making Cornell a fantastic place to live, learn and work. We look forward to receiving nominations for next year’s awards!

Through FATMAC, the GPSA recognizes the contributions of faculty, postdocs, TAs, and other colleagues of Graduate and Professional students who go above and beyond in making Cornell an incredible place to learn, live, perform cutting edge research, and give back to the local community.

We are accepting nominations across five categories: Lecturing, Innovation, Mentorship, Outreach, and Pedagogy.

If there is anyone who should be recognized for their contributions in any of these categories for their efforts during winter 2025 or spring 2026, please submit nomination(s) to the Qualtrics survey here.
