Hey Class of 2029! My name is Ellie Porter, and I want to be your advocate! I will focus on practical change that amplifies student voices and improves quality of life. 

My Promises: 
   Legislation- Allocating more funding to civic and affinity based groups and championing policies that emphasize due process and student voices in disciplinary proceedings.
   Communication- Hosting town halls, attending your events, and creating an anonymous form to report sensitive issues to me. I will also ensure that you receive a SA newsletter.
   
My Priorities: 
   Utilities- Printing and laundry included in existing CAMP and housing prices. Printers and free feminine hygiene products across dorms on North. Expanding access to loaner laptops and required media for classes (movies, games) through the library. 
   Dining- Pre-prepared, allergy-friendly meals in all dining halls and takeout swipe options at RPCC after hours.
   Transportation- TCAT passes for all and expanding the accessibility of other services (Ithaca Bikeshare).
   
Neither my vote nor my endeavors will ever come as a surprise. They will always be grounded in what you are communicating to me. Let’s work together and vote Porter for your first quarter at Cornell. Follow @cuwporter on Insta!
