Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #42: Adding Mental Health Checks to the Daily Check. This resolution calls for the addition of a mental health and wellbeing related question on the Daily Check portal to better connect students with mental health resources during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This resolution passed the Assembly with a vote of 20-0-1.

SA R41 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President
Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #41: Disengaging Cornell from the War in Yemen. This resolution calls for an end to Cornell’s relationship with Saudi Arabia and arms manufacturers involved in war crimes in the War in Yemen.
This resolution passed the Assembly with a vote of 17-1-3.
I would like to thank the cosponsors for bringing this resolution to the Student Assembly and for their hard work in advocating for these changes.

It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #40: Approving Special Projects Request for the Sexual Violence Prevention Network. This resolution approves $10,400 of Special Projects funding to the Sexual Violence Prevention Network for their Sexual Assault Awareness Month programming.

It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #35 – Calling on Cornell to End All Ties with ICE. This resolution calls on Cornell to absolve all ties with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), including but not limited to recruitment, education, training, research, and technological equipment and software.

SA R33 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President
Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #33 – Winter/Summer Term Financial Aid. This resolution recommends that Cornell grant-based aid is expanded to include both summer and winter session enrollment. Currently, grant-based financial aid is only available for fall/spring terms. In the summer/winter terms, students only have aid in the form of work or loans.
