Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #41: Disengaging Cornell from the War in Yemen. This resolution calls for an end to Cornell’s relationship with Saudi Arabia and arms manufacturers involved in war crimes in the War in Yemen.   This resolution passed the Assembly with a vote of 17-1-3.   I would like to thank the cosponsors for bringing this resolution to the Student Assembly and for their hard work in advocating for these changes.

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #33 – Winter/Summer Term Financial Aid. This resolution recommends that Cornell grant-based aid is expanded to include both summer and winter session enrollment. Currently, grant-based financial aid is only available for fall/spring terms. In the summer/winter terms, students only have aid in the form of work or loans.
