Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #29: Extension to Good Samaritan Laws. This resolution asks that New York State’s Good Samaritan Laws be extended to not only students at high levels of risk, but any student or guest that needs assistance in the event that emergency support is called in.

SA R30 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President
Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #30: Calling for the Disarmament of the Cornell University Police Department. This resolution contextualizes the Cornell movement for disarmament, recognizing that the institution of policing was founded in slavery and has upheld historic segregation and racism through America’s founding to the Civil Rights Era.

Employee Assembly Staff Forum with Christine Lovely April 28th, 2023
Panelists include Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Mary Opperman, Employee Assembly Chair Andrea Haenlin-Mott, Immediate Past Employee Assembly Chair Jessica Withers, and several past Employee Assembly Chairs. The Employee Assembly gathered to wish Vice President Opperman a fond farewell as she prepares to leave Cornell after 26 years of service.
Employee Assembly Panel Discussion - Employee Education Benefits
The Employee Assembly hosted a Panel Discussion on Employee Education Benefits on Thursday, 1/21 from 12:00-1:00PM (EST) to discuss available education benefits and opportunities for staff.
Panelists included Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Mary Opperman, and representatives from CULearn, the Employee Degree Program, the School of Continuing Education and eCornell:
