UA R8 (2019-2020): Accepted by the President

Dear Bob,   Thank you for submitting UA Resolution #8: “Recommendation for Revision of the Campus Code of Conduct” for my consideration. I am pleased to accept this resolution.   I appreciate the efforts of the University Assembly and the Codes and Judicial Committee (CJC) to make revisions to the Code of Conduct over the past several semesters. During the summer the Office of University Counsel will develop a code reflecting the best ideas from the CJC and the Office of the Student Advocate.

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution 69: Approving Appendix B for the 2020-2022 Cycle.   This resolution recommends changes to Appendix B of the Student Assembly Charter in accordance with our byline funding process.   Please let me know if you have any questions.   Best, Joe Anderson

EA R7 (2019-2020): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   I am happy to convey EA R7: Bereavement Policy to you for consideration.   EAR7 is a formal request to add a more inclusive definition of ‘family’ to the University’s Funeral Leave Policy 6.9, page 15 and to incorporate a reasonable number of days off for travel to and from funeral services.   I would like to thank Employee Assembly Benefits and Policy Committee Chair Brian Goodell and the entire committee membership for their hard work on this important issue.
