| Text Attachment | Dear President Pollack, It is my pleasure to convey to you the University Assembly Resolution #6, sponsored by Mr. Jeramy Kruser, an Employee Representative on the UA, and Mr. Ulysses Smith, the Chair of the UA Campus Welfare Committee. This resolution was approved by a 14-0-1 vote of the Assembly at our April 11th meeting. It specifically calls upon the University to improve its compliance with accessibility standards, such as the WCAG 2.0 AA Standards, and it outlines a comprehensive timeline whereby we would like to see these standards achieved. The recommendations outlined in UA Resolution #6 are important because Cornell prides itself on being accessible to people from all walks of life. It is the hope of the Assembly that we will see substantive progress made towards that end in the near future. I want to specifically thank Mr. Kruser for his leadership on this initiative.
