Dear President Pollack,

I am pleased to convey University Assembly Resolution 8 to you “Examining Cornell University’s Waste Management Practices”. There was lengthy conversation in the UA around this topic this year, and this resolution is the result of conversations from all constituencies, as well as direct feedback from the departments and staff involved in this work here on campus. I would like to add my appreciation for the level of collaboration involved in this document, and it’s goal of ongoing collaboration between the UA and the University departments impacted by this work.

The resolution was passed on April 12th with a vote of 16-0-1.

Sincerely,
Brandon
